ODE2RAP features sample based slaps and raps written between 2021 and 2023. I produced all three tracks, with help from Valley Flaxman on Exquisite Corpse. The song came when I played the demo beat for him one night. He added the punchy flavour and mad bass to match the energy of my rhymes, especially in the second verse.

It Takes A Nation Of Minnows To Hold Us Back was written in 2023 in Malaysia, and finished after the Voice referendum result was a No, providing me with lots of inspiration for raps. Cerise de Terre was the last song I wrote, doing so in Perth after a family members funeral. My collaborator on the track Brownskinnigga is rapping in English as a second language and nailed the somber brief. I made this track especially for him, sampling a Filipino Psych Rock legend from the 60s and then was inspired to jump on it myself.
